U-POL Power Can Etch Primer 500ml is a 1K etch primer in aerosol format, designed to prime bare metal surfaces, promote paint adhesion, and provide anti-corrosion protection.
It is a professional-grade product that delivers a spray-gun-like finish from the convenience of an aerosol can.
- Corrosion Resistance: Zinc-enriched formula helps prevent the formation of rust on steel surfaces.
- Superior Adhesion: Chemically bonds to metal substrates, creating a strong foundation for excellent adhesion of subsequent paint layers.
- Versatile Application: Suitable for bare steel, aluminium, galvanised and zinc-coated steels, fully cured paint, polyester body fillers, and G.R.P.
- Ease of Use: Supplied in a 500ml aerosol can with a high-opacity, wide-fan nozzle for efficient coverage and minimal overspray.
- Fast Drying: Tack-free in approximately 10 minutes and ready for top coating in about 1 hour.
- Direct Top Coating: Can be directly overcoated with a topcoat. For high-build applications, a primer filler should be used first.
